- Networking Opportunities – Your membership in META affords you the opportunity to network with IT counterparts and top state decision-makers. After all, joining is all about belonging. (A registration fee may be required.)
- Lobbying Efforts – We're watching out for the IT industry every day. During the legislative session, the e-team is on the job -- reading bills (more than 2,000 bills were filed in 2008), tracking amendments, and promoting the IT industry. In addition, we're tracking IT trends and issues all year long. Ask yourself this question -- of the more than 2,000 bills filed in 2008, how many did you have time to read?
- We put people together – We will provide referrals to members who seek to retain legislative consultants. Our response to our fellow e-team members is, “We’re here to help.”
